Chicano

About to finish up a joint called "Chicano" for those that don't know the word, it means when your parents are Mexican, yet you are born in the U.S.

It was an interesting song to write, yet I realize that you can't always say every thing you want in a song. There is so much shit you want to say, but at the same time you don't want to make this long drawn out song. I tried capturing the feelings, but I'm sure there will be a part 2 down the line. More than anything I focused on how you never fully are from here or from there, "Ni de aqui, ni de aya."

Look out for it soon. It'll be in a collaboration the Sound Merchants and I are working on.

Sorry for not keeping the blog updated these past weeks, I'll get back on it. One
