Trying this blogging stuff out! (1st Entry, maybe the last lol)

Scheme (Molemen)

I go by the name of Scheme representing the Molemen collective out from Chicago.

I'm sitting here in a hotel lobby in Indiana and figured fuck it, Let me start a blog! lol

I would want this blog to be filled with random things that catch my attention online and offline. I'll try to put up info on new music and try to upload random videos of me working on music and doing some other random shit lol I say, "I would want" because for all I know this can be my first and last entry lol

The reason I started this was because I find myself reading a lot of other people's blogs and there's a lot of entertaining stuff out there. So I figured why not? I am currently working on an album tentatively titled Now or Never...so I figured I could keep people up on what's going on with me through the blog…

Let's see….

I'll start with some random info about myself:

Love music

Born and raised in Chicago (west side and northwest side)

First tape I bought was Cypress Hill (1991)

Started writing raps when I was like in 6th grade (them shit's were soooo horrible lol)

Stopped writing for awhile and started again in sophomore year in High School (shout out to the homie Gustavo for getting me back into the writing tip)

Put out an EP with my homies Establish and R-Slek in '01 (just a handful of CD's were made for us to pass out)

Met Visual who introduced me to Panik, who then added me to the Molemen roster

Dropped an LP (For My People), a mixtape with Visual (This is Now), and another mixtape with Decay and Astonish (The Biz Vol. 1)

I've been featured in the Molemen's Chicago City Limits Vol. 2 and the Lost Sessions

Now working on Now or Never (got a good handful of songs ready, just need to fill in the blanks, hopefully have it done by the end of this year)

Fav. Rappers? Nas, Big Pun, Big L, Andre 3000, and Ghostface

Other shit I listen to besides Hip Hop? Mana, The Mars Volta, Ramon Ayala, Al Green, Café Tacuba, Cadetes, Calle 13, Frankie Ruiz, Eddie Santiago, Carlos Santana, Lauryn Hill, Red Hot Chili Peppers, some R&B, some norteñas, a little bit of everything honestly.

Fav. Food? Whatever you treat me too. Lol as you can see, I'm pretty open on this subject lol

What's been in constant rotation on my Ipod lately? Lupe, Ghostface, Royce da 5'9", Kanye, and Decay's "Unlikely Villain" Mixtape (this shit is dope, go to Decay's myspace to download it) (www.myspace.com/emceedecay)

Why is the album going to be called "Now or Never"? The title fit my mind set, it's basically Now or Never, it's my time to make this happen, there's no turning back

Artists I would like to work with: Alchemist, Nas, Brother Ali,
DJ Premier, Carlos Santana, Cee-Lo, Evidence, Calle 13, Ghostface, Royce da 5'9", Black Thought, AZ….the list can go on and on! Lol

I'm done for now lol maybe I'll be back again, maybe I won't lol we'll see what happens!

Peace
